Breed: Welsh Pony Cross
Description: Spunky is a grey gelding with a cute pink nose. He is 21 years old and has been at Troop since 2001. Spunky is a real Trooper and enjoys teaching a wide variety of lessons, from beginner to advanced. His show name is “Northern Rain”.
Personality: Spunky is a Troop favorite. He likes everyone and is a friendly, gentle soul. He knows how to do everything and loves to jump! He is a great teacher and capable mount whether his rider is a beginner or a seasoned competitor. Spunky’s best friend is Rambo. They love playing together in the paddock.
History: Spunky came to us from a local farm where he was outgrown by his young rider. He showed competitively in the Large Pony Hunters before coming to Troop.
