Queenie
Breed: Quarter Horse Cross
Description: Queenie is on loan to Troop from a Long Island farm. She is a chestnut mare whose breeding is unsure, but probably at least part Quarter Horse. Her show name is Queen of Diamonds.
Personality: Queenie is a laid back gal who enjoys lessons, eating and play time with her best friend Freddie. She also loves to be fawned over and cared for by children, which makes her a perfect part of our team at Troop.
History: Queenie has always been wonderful at teaching children to ride. Before she came to Troop, she taught her owner's daughter how to ride and even showed with her at the Hampton Classic in Short Stirrup. Once Queenie's little girl outgrew her, Queenie taught other children how to ride at her home on Long Island before joining us at NCMT.
