Breed: Dutch Warmblood
Description: Meet NCMT's newest superhero, The Dark Knight, aka "Doc". Doc is a dark bay Dutch Warmblood, standing 16.1 hands, with two hind socks and a star. Doc is a proud 16 year old who loves to jump. He is extremely well broke and can counter canter like nobody else.
Personality: Doc is a bold character who is always looking for treats, because he knows he deserves them. Doc is proud to carry riders to new levels and is a patient soul with a big heart. He loves to teach kids how to jump higher, and being so extremely well broke, Doc can show rising young riders what it feels like to do perfect flying lead changes down a straight line, then counter canter the smallest of circles. Doc loves peppermints, watermelon, and apples, but watch your bagel and cream cheese too!
History: Doc came to NCMT in August 2010 after a very successful show jumping career in the children's jumpers, children's equitation and adult equitation divisions. Doc was 5th in the 2009 CHJA Adult Equitation Medal Finals, 3rd in the 2009 FWPHA Children's Equitation Medal Finals, and 3rd in the 2009 New England Equitation Adult Medal Finals 40 and over.
