Breed: Welsh Cross
Description: Blue is a 15 year old grey gelding with a winning personality. His show name is “Midnight Blues”.
Personality: Blue is a Troop favorite. Gentle and patient, he greets visitors to the barn with a friendly whinny and sweet pleading face. Hard to resist, he loves the attention lavished on him by the children of Troop. Blue is a wonderful teacher but doesn’t like riders who pull! He specializes in teaching riders to be smooth and accurate with their aids.
History: Blue was a competitive Pony Hunter on the show circuit for many years. His medical conditions prevented him form continuing his full time competitive career so he was donated to Troop.
Special Jobs: Lessons, summer camp, horse shows, annual Halloween Parade.
